E.M. Skinner OPUS 669

Completion photo of our Rescue, Relocation, and Restoration of Skinner OPUS 669. At its former location there was no facade. The K&M team was able to retain and modify the facade and casework that was originally for the Moller Pipe organ that this instrument replaced. The pipes were fully stripped, repaired, and finished with a gold lacquer. The casework was modified and fully refinished. Because of the new layout the team had to build a new expression box for the Swell and Choir division which was constructed in the same manner the Skinner Pipe Organ Company would have built them in 1927.
